Inventories decreased, coffee exports are optimistic

VCN- Although coffee export value recorded a significant decline in the first two months of the year, coffee exports for the whole year areseen to havemany optimistic factors. In particular, coffee prices will recover after going through a cycle of four consecutive years of price declines.
Leather and footwear exports could not reach goal of US$24 billion

VCN- The Covid-19 pandemic had a strong impact on the production and export of Vietnamese leather and footwear industry during the first three quarters of the year. In the finalmonths of the year, although there are some better signs, the leather and footwear export forecast in 2020 cannot reach the goalof US$24 billion.

VCN- Industrial production still faces many difficulties and unpredictable challenges. Some industries saw a sharp decrease or a slight increase in the index during the first six months of the year, such as: production of motor vehicles decreased by 16.4%; crude oil and natural gas exploitation decreased by 11.3%; beverage production decreased by 8.8%; costume production decreased by 4.7%.
