The WCO successfully holds its 18th Global Information and Intelligence Strategy Project Group

On 6 and 7 October 2022, the WCO welcomed Members to the 18th Global Information and Intelligence Strategy Project Group (GIIS), both in person at the WCO headquarters and on-line via the Zoom platform. The Meeting counted a record participation of around 100 participants from 40 countries worldwide.

Cambodia’s Air Cargo Control Unit successfully targets falsely declared COVID-19 test kits

The Air Cargo Control Unit in Phnom Penh airport, Cambodia, established in the framework of the UNODC-WCO Container Control Programme (CCP), detected a shipment containing around 100 COVID-19 test kits. Upon its arrival from Hong Kong China, the shipment was falsely declared as ‘Test Paper Sample’.
Partnership for maritime digitalization to support flow of trade by ship
