VCN - In an interview with Customs News, Mr. Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Director of the Department of Animal Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), said it is expected that in 2022, a large livestock production area will be implemented in Vietnam along with disease safety, which will boost the output and export value of Vietnam's livestock products by 2025.

VCN - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) Phung Duc Tien said, thanks to thoroughly following the spirit of Resolution 128/NQ-CP promulgating temporary regulations for "safe adaptation, flexibility, effective control the Covid-19 pandemic", the circulation was restored, the consumption demand as well as the price of livestock products increased markedly. Not only ensuring the domestic food supply, the agricultural sector will boost the export of livestock products in the future.

VCN - Nearly four years of being warned by the European Commission (EC) with a "yellow card" for illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing activities have resulted in a sharp decrease of Vietnam's seafood exports into the EU. To get the "yellow card" removed, one of the important tasks is to completely stop Vietnamese fishing vessels violating foreign waters.

VCN - Talking to Customs News, Dr. Le Quoc Phuong, former Deputy Director of the Center for Industry and Trade Information (Ministry of Industry and Trade), said that in spite of impressive export growth in the first five months of 2021, it is pity that there was significant decrease in key export goods of Vietnamese enterprises which revealed that the resilience of Vietnamese enterprises to "shocks" is weaker than foreign counterparts, typically due to the negative effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

VCN - It is expected that in the future, many wind and solar power projects will continue to be put into operation. Meanwhile, investment in the construction of power grids is difficult to meet synchronous progress of wind and solar power projects.

VCN - Affirming the feasibility of the domestic market, especially when living standards of local people is improving day by day, Truong Van Cam (photo), Vice President and General Secretary of Textile Association Vietnam garment (Vitas) emphasized that, to strengthen the competitiveness of Vietnam's textile and garment on the "home field", in addition to the efforts of enterprises, it is necessary to promote policy mechanisms related to the domestic market.
