VCN - The demand for importing wooden furniture and interior decoration from Canada is quite large, but the proportion of Vietnamese goods in this market is still modest. It is forecast that Vietnamese furniture and interior decoration products still have many opportunities to boost exports to Canada, even through this "gateway" to penetrate the North American market.

VCN- In the first quarter of this year, Vietnam's import and export activities saw positive signs and increased sharply compared to the same period last year. Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Deputy Director of Import and Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), said that import-export growth in general, especially industrial products, is different. In the future, it is necessary to carefully consider and provide support for the industries that are greatly affected by the pandemic.

VCN - Mr. Truong Thanh Hoai (pictured), Director of the Department of Industry (Ministry of Industry and Trade) said that besides the negative effects, the Covid-19 epidemic also brings many opportunities for Vietnam, especially in attracting invest in industrial production. However, Vietnamese businesses must improve their capacity to make the best use of these opportunities.
