Mobile phones were wrapped around the woman’s thighs.

According to Quang Ninh Customs Department, at 10:30 am on April 6, 2019, on Hoang Quoc Viet Street (about 100 meters from Mong Cai International Border Gate) in Zone I, Tran Phu Ward, Mong Cai City, Customs Enforcement Team No.1 detected a Chinese woman illegally transporting goods.

At the Customs’ head office, the women handed over 20 mobile phones to the Customs officers.

This is one of the new and sophisticated transport methods used by smugglers to avoid detection.

The Customs Enforcement Team No. 1 made a report, seized the mobile phones and transferred the case to competent agencies to handle in accordance with regulations.

From the beginning of 2019 until now, Customs Enforcement Team No. 1 has detected 8 cases of transporting mobile phones and seized more than 300 mobile phones.
