Accordingly, the target set until the end of 2017, is 100% of shrimp farms in areas of 4 major provinces: Ca Mau, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Kien Giang signed a commitment to not put impurities into shrimp before consumption; and sign a commitment to not buy shrimp which has impurities.
By the end of 2018, the target is to end putting impurities into raw shrimp in major provinces and across country.
One of the tasks and solutions of the Scheme is the dissemination of the law, signed commitments, detection and crime reporting.
Particularly for the Committees of Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, Soc Trang, Kien Giang, which have to direct the establishment of a hotline to receive information on violations of impurities in shrimp at the relevant departments and committees; direct the organization of signing commitments, and publicize the list of signed establishments locally.
The Scheme requires the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade to collaborate with the mass media for publishing bulletins on impurities in shrimp and name, address and results of the treatment to organizations and individuals which violated.
The Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) reviewed, amended and finalized the program of Shrimp processing enterprises "Say no to impurities in shrimp", encouraged members which are doing shrimp processing and manufacturing to participate in the Program.
The Association, and other business associations which are related to the manufacturing, processing and export of shrimp (associations/local associations of seafood, Vietnam Fisheries Association) propagate and mobilize members to comply with the law on controlling and preventing acts of putting impurities into raw shrimp and manufacturing shrimp which contain impurities.
On regular inspection activities, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development held inspection of the observance of regulations on the controlling and preventing of impurities, combined with testing, evaluating the conditions of ensuring food safety of manufacturing and business fishery export establishments also handling violations according to provisions of law.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade and Industry will inspect the observance of regulations on controlling and preventing impurities of shrimp manufacturing and business establishments during transportation, circulation and distribution of products on the market and handle violations according to provisions of law.

The Ministry of Public Security will organize the implementation of professional measures, gather information, scout and strive to prevent and handle violations according to law.
In addition, the organization of planned inspections and unscheduled inspections will be strengthened during the peak months in order to detect and handle violations of impurities.
