Declared machinery, imported prohibited goods

According to the Customs Control Team, in 6 cases of violation with criminal signs, there were 4 cases of importing prohibited goods and importing conditional goods, but these imported goods were declared under the name that the State encourages to import items as machines, Aquatic, to be assigned to the free flow of goods without a physical check.

Typically, the case of the Commercial Services C. Limited company (at Long An) issued by the Customs Control in collaboration with the Customs Branch of Saigon ports area 1 was detected at the end of March 2016. The company declared used imachinery of all kinds including 5 items (4 agricultural tractors, industrial water pump, 2-wheel agricultural tractors, forklifts, hand tools), made in Japan, worth over 187 million vnd, the amount of tax payable was 20 million vnd. After checking the shipment, customs officers discovered only a few agricultural machines disguised as a header container, inside the container was consumer goods, including: 6 used motorcycles, and prohibited items; 30 barrels of milk powder and cereals; 30 barrels cleanser, shower gel, toothpaste ... under conditional imported commodities.

Dated 27-5-2016, through physical inspection of the imported consignment S. Vietnam Company Limited, The Customs Control coordinated with Customs Branch of the Saigon ports area 1 inspected and discovered a bulk shipment of imported goods not declared to customs in declaration 100878452140 / All were banned goods include televisions, microwaves, DVDs ... and consumables. During importing procedures, the company just declared goods as bodywork, metal bending machine, manual control valve, electric motors, with motor power rating is 1KW power, portable drills, hand tools, Jumbo, with a dutiable value of 71 million vnd, the total amount of tax payable by nearly 12 million vnd.

Earlier, in late 4th May 2016, the Customs Control Team in coordination with the Customs Branch of the ports of Saigon area NK 1 insoected a shipment under declaration No.100 836 882 750/A11 of the Company Limited Translation Transport service N. at Cat Lai also found the shipment contained import of prohibited goods. On the declaration, the goods were usedmetal milling machine, used metal stamping machine, the machine metal trauma, used rice motor mower, 100% new manual wheelchair, export Made in Japan; worth 140 million vnd, the total amount of tax payable 14.4 million vnd. In addition to the goods on the customs declaration, the company also imported 3 used bikes

Additionally, at the end of June 2016, at Cat Lai port, through inspection of imported consignments Trading Company Limited LV, The Customs Control and Customs Branch of the ports of Saigon area discovered a large import of banned machinery, no customs declaration, including nearly 300 tractors used in agriculture, generators, compressors, bulldozers, rollers, motors, speaker of used barrels. On DN declaration was a generic name: Used Machinery consists of 5 items (body lift, body contact, body training, used in agricultural tractors, mowers gasoline lawn, 0.5HP power), all goods are used, originating in Japan.

Ltd . After the test results the shipment included nearly 800 imported goods outdoor air conditioner units, refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, cookers, air purifiers ... all used under imported prohibited items. Shipment value is estimated at nearly 800 million vnd. To disguise the banned goods, when opening customs declarations on imported shipments, the company declared the imported goods were processed raw fabrics, including cotton 95% polyester and 5% spandex size 50/60, originating in Japan.

According to the HCM City Customs Department, not only the above 6 violations of criminal signs, during processing of the violation, from the beginning of the year, HCM City Customs Department in cooperation with HCMC people's Committee 21 cases of criminal violations, up 31.3% compared to the same period of 2015. In particular, the HCMC people's Committee requested police agencies to investigate and handle 13 cases of violation.
