Capital city suspends night-time business as COVID-19 infection spreads
Under the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee, several non-essential services based around the city centre have temporarily shut
Several of the capital’s famous nightlife venues in the centre have closed
Usually packed with revelers in the evening, Ta Hien and Luong Ngoc Quyen streets have now become deserted
Cafes in front of the Chuong Vang (Golden Bell) theater have also closed whilst parking in the area has been suspended
Ta Hien street used to be typically busy on Wednesday nights with several bars offering midweek promotions
