Import – export goods crossing the Cat Lai gate

Recently, the Customs Control and Customs Branch of the ports of Saigon area 1 investigated a container of imports with declaration number 100 964 390 810 / A11 on 26/07/2016 from Import-Export Trade Co., Ltd. Thien Thai, which was foundto contain prohibited goods.

The goods were depicted as accelerators of vulcanization of rubber on the declaration - Rubber Curingagent, 100% new, originated from Korea, with total tax value of over 200 millionvnd, the total amount of tax which must be paid is 20 millionvnd.

The declaration was accepted by the VNACC / VCIS system and classified Yellow channel. However, after investigation, the Customs Control Team, in collaboration with the Customs Branch of the ports of Saigon area 1 stopped the shipment.

The Customs Control team advised the company, but representatives of the company did not show up. Eventually, the Customs Control team decided to investigate.

The investigation found all the goods in containers were automotive parts, import-prohibited, including automobile motors 17, 120 fan inlet, gearbox 11, 20 car seats, 32 axles, steering, cooling boxes and 95 detailing truck, automotive cabin ... All were used.
