Continuously seize 3.5 tons of smuggled sugar and 1,000 packs of smuggled cigarette in Quang Tri

At 11:35 AM on 13/9/2017, in the area of Xuan Phuoc village, Lao Bao town, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province, the Anti - Drug Enforcement Unit (Quang Tri Customs Department) detected imported goods of unknown owner including: 3,000 kg of white sugar, made in Thailand; 360 cans of Heineken Beer 500ml / cans, made in Netherlands; total value of about 57 million vnd.

Earlier, on 12/9, in the area of the trail under the Cat Duoi village, the Customs Enforcement Unit force (Quang Tri Customs Department) went on patrols and suddenly discovered some people were carrying goods and gathering on the hilly hills.

When the force presented at the scene, those people run away and left behind the cargo included: 1,000 packs of Jet cigarette, 500 kg of white sugar made in Thailand.

In two cases, the Customs forces make the record of certifying the case, seized all the goods for processing.
