Customs join seizure of more than 100kg of drugs

Typical drug seizures from early 2020 to the present:

In January 2020, implementing the MT19 Project established by the General Department of Customs, the Customs force coordinated with the competent forces inside and outside the sector to fight and stopillegal transport and trafficking of narcotics from Cambodia to Vietnam via Moc Bai border gate area, Tay Ninh province to Ho Chi Minh City for consumption and seized 3kg of methamphetamine.

After that, the Specialized Project Committee coordinated with PC04 Division, Public Security of Tay Ninhprovince to expand investigation and seize 13kg of methamphetamine and three offenders.

Also, in January 2020, in Ky Son district, Nghe An province, the drug prevention and control force of Ha TinhCustoms Department collaborated with other competent forces to arrest one offendercarrying 6,000 synthetic drug tablets.

On February 6, 2020, at Hamlet 5, Son Giang commune, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province, the drug prevention and control force of the Ha Tinh Customs Department coordinated with other competent forces to arrest two offenders and seize 40kg and detected two authorities, seizing 40kg of methamphetamine and 5kg of ketamine.

On March 17, 2020, at the bridge 81 area, Highway 8A, in Ha Trai village, Son Kim 1 commune, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province, the drug prevention and control force of Ha Tinh Customs Department coordinated with other competent forces to arrest two offenders and seize 15kg of marijuana.
