Regarding the city’s socio-economic performance in January-September, the municipal People’s Committee reported that the GDP growth was estimated at 7.9 percent and export turnover was valued at nearly US$1.1 billion, a year-on-year rise of 11.8 percent.

Local industrial parks attracted 34 investment projects worth about VND783 billion (US$34.4 million). Additionally, the province granted licences to 73 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects worth nearly US$62 million.

The city welcomed over 5.1 million tourists in the first nine months of this year.
