Declared plastic film, importing scrap

On 17/4, the Customs Enforcement Unit of the HCM City Customs Department said that Vinacontrol Inspection Company had obtained an inspection certificate and concluded that the used plastic film imported through Cat Lai port was plastic scrap, which did not meet standards for import in accordance with regulations

The above two containers were imported by Ky Phu Gia Co. Ltd., the company opened the import declaration at the Ninh Binh Customs Department at the end of March 2018 and declared that the goods were used plastic film that has value in use ( used in agriculture). The commodity included nearly 36 tons, and worth over $US 2,400.

Through physical inspection and inspection at Vinacontrol Company, the results showed that the goods were plastic scrap, which did not meet standard for import in accordance with regulations under the provisions in Section 2.2.4. QCVN32: 2010 / BTNMT.

However, the enterprise has not accepted the results of inspection yet and is conducting its right to complain about this result.
