Detect a suspected shipment of tax fraud at Tinh Bien border – An Giang

Through the information collection, data analysis and supervision at the site of centralized inspection, the Tinh Bien Customs Branch noticed an error of item name, type, origin compared to customs declaration of export shipment of SV Co., Ltd located at Dong Hai 2 Ward, Hai An District, Hai Phong. Thus Customs authorities decided to stop moving goods through the supervision area and conduct a physical inspection of the entire shipment.
Tinh Bien Customs Branch said that the goods were declared as all kinds of new shoes, made in Vietnam; packing in 305 barrels, total weight was more than 9.5 tons, the total value of over $US 126,000 registered at Investment – Processing Customs Branch- Hai Phong Customs Department and export through the Tinh Bien Customs Branch for partners in Cambodia. However, through the physical inspection, the actual goods are defective products, old shoes, not enough pair of shoes.
Through the work, SV’s representative admitted that the whole thing is true and actions of tax fraud and evasion. As known that, the company has repeatedly similar violations. Tinh Bien Customs Branch is continuing to inspect the above shipment.
