Dien Bien: Arrest an instigator of the line of transporting 5kg meth

Discussing with Customs News’s reporter, representative of Anti-drug Enforcement Team (Dien Bien Customs Department) confirmed that the instigator is a student studying at a school in Thai Nguyen province. This person was usually connected to some Laotian people and found the way to transport meth from Laos to Vietnam for consumption.
Furthermore, this is the first time Dien Bien Customs forces coordinated to solving a case of transporting meth in large quantities in the area.
According to the Customs News, at 5:00 PM on 22/10, at Dien Bien Bus Station, the Anti-Drug Enforcement Team, Tay Trang Customs Branch (Dien Bien Customs Department) co-chaired in collaboration with the Anti-drugs and crime prevention Team, Border Post of Tay Trang Border Gate (Dien Bien Border Guard Command), PC47 (Dien Bien Police) detained 2 subjects including Tong Van On (was born in 1965,lives in Muong Ang district, Dien Bien province) and Trinh Manh Tien (was born in 1960, lives in Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province) while was transporting 5 bars of white crystals, size 16x14x7cm, weighing 5 kg which were methamphetamine.
At the scene, competent force held in custody 150 million vnd and 1 used a mobile phone. At the investigation agency, the subject claimed that all the above goods were a methamphetamine transported from Laos to Vietnam for consumption.
Currently, the competent force completed dossier for this case and handed over to the Dien Bien police for clarification.
