At 1:00 PM, on May 22, the force including PC04, Son La Police; Anti-drug Enforcement Team (Dien Bien Customs Department); Police of Chieng Ngan Ward, Son La City found two men driving two motorbikes with many suspected signs of drug-related crimes while performing duty at Pung village area, Chieng Ngan commune, Son La city, Son La province.

The working group stopped the two motorbikes for an administrative inspection and they declared that they were Hang A Vang and Giang A Tu.

During inspection, Vang voluntarily handed over one sack with 30 plastic bags containing a total of 6,000 pink tablets.

Vang claimed the tablets were ecstasy, which were for sale. Tu brought those drugs to sell and was arrested by the group.

The forces made a record of arresting Vang and Tu. At the same time, seizing and sealing exhibits in accordance with regulations.

Previously, on May 18, the Anti-Drug Enforcement Team (Dien Bien Customs Department) worked with PC04 Department of Son La Province Police; Sop Cop police, Song Ma district police to perform duty in Hop Tien village area, Huoi Mot commune, Song Ma district, Son La province and discovered a male subject named Trang Lao Dua standing next to the road and handling a brown cloth bag with many suspected signs of drug-related crimes.

Here, the working group conducted an inspection and detected inside Dua's canvas bag contained 100 plastic bags (80 blue plastic bags, 20 pink plastic bags), with a total of 20,000 synthetic drugs.
