Dien Bien Customs coordinates to stop transport of six bricks of heroin

VCN – Dien Bien Customs coordinated to arrest two people who transported six bricks of heroin for sale in the area of Muong La (Son La province).

At 8:00 PM on February 22, the anti-drugs enforcement team (Dien Bien Customs Department) coordinated with PC04; PA01 Son La Police; Muong La Police; Muong Bu Ward Police – Muong La Ward, Son La province to perform tasks at sub-area 2, Muong La Ward, Son La province. Then they detected two males driving two motorbikes from Son La city to Muong La province with suspicious sign of drugs-related crime.

When the working group requested to check, the person named Lo Van Binh (born in 1988, lived in Huoi Cuom village, Muong Bu commune, Muong La district, Son La province) voluntarily handed over to the working group a red plastic bag containing six rectangular bricks.

In there, Lo Van Binh claimed that, the six bricks as mentioned above were heroin, which was carried by Lo Van Binh and Quang Van Dom for sale.

Quang Van Dom also claimed that he accepted to go with Lo Van Binh to bring the drugs for sale. After selling, he would receive VND 5 million.

After that, the working group made a record to arrest the offenders for Lo Van Binh and Quang Van Dom and sealed the exhibits as prescribed.

Currently all dossiers, subjects and exhibits were transferred to Son La Police for continuing to investigate and handle.
