At 12:20pm on April 2, in ​​Suoi Lu village, Dien Bien province, the Drug Enforcement Unit coordinated with Dien Bien Public Security forces and Dien Bien Dong District Public Security to arrest a group of people suspected of drug related crimes.

Members of the unit approached the group and arrested a man named as Hang A Xa, born in 1998.

Inspecting the man’s bag, officers found two bricks of white powder wrapped in a blue plastic.

Hang A Xa confessed that the substance was heroin.

At 3:00pm on March 31, the unit coordinated with the Investigation Police Division on Drug-related Crimes under Dien Bien Police investigated a group in Dien Bien and discovered three men suspected of involvement in drug-related crimes.

When the officers approached the men, two escaped on a motorcycle. The remaining suspect was arrested and named as Hang A Khua, born in 1992.
