Implementation of the plan of the specialised case Code CA717, in Hai Phong port area, Unit 1 in coordination with Unit 4, Division 3 (under the Anti-smuggling and Investigation Department); Hai Phong Customs Enforcement Unit, Hai Phong port area 1 Customs Branch Hai Phong Customs Enforcement Unit, Hai Phong port area 3 Customs Branch Hai Phong, (Hai Phong Customs Department); C74 (Ministry of Public Security) to inspect two shipments of Hai Ha Trading Co.,Ltd. (according to information in the bill of lading).

According to the business declaration on the bill of lading, goods are furniture. However, in fact, the competent forces detected large quantities of goods on the list of prohibited import goods and subject to be conditional import under the provisions of Decree No. 187/2013 / ND-CP.

Inspecting the first shipment in accordance with Decision No. 33 / QD-D1 dated 26/7/2017 of Unit 1, from 8/8 to 10/8, competent forces seized thousands of products include: clocks and clock accessories, watch cases of all kinds; bike; wall painting; cosmetics, alcohol; bases; candle legs ...

Commodities after the inspection were sealed and assigned to Hai Ha Tuyet Trade Co., Ltd, Evergreen Shipping Company in Hai Phong and Green Port VIP Joint Stock Company for preservation under the supervision of Hai Phong port border area III Customs Branch while waiting for processing decision of Customs authority.

After the inspection goods were sealed and assigned to NYK Line in Hai Phong and Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company - Tan Vu port Branch for preservation in accordance with the status quo under the supervision of Customs Enforcement Unit, Hai Phong port area I Customs Branch Hai Phong while waiting for processing decision of the Customs authority.

Both containers originated from France. All clocks were used and were European-styled and wall-mounted.

The case is being investigated and verified by the Unit 1 in cooperation with related agencies.
