Discovery a case of illegal import primitive weapons

At 4:15 PM on 7^th April 2017, at the area near border milestone 1368(3)-500 of zone 1, Ka Long Ward, Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province, the Integrated Enforcement team No.1 under Customs Enforcement Unit No. 1 (Quang Ninh Customs Department) discovered and arrested Phạm Hùng Đăng, born on 23th July 1981 (lived in Hamlet 3, Quang Thang ward, Hai Ha district, Quang Ninh province) due to illegal import primitive weapons cross-border.

At there, the functional force inspected and seized: 84 metal swords (included 28 sword with length of 101cm; 28 swords with length of 78cm; 28 swords with length of 54cm) and 28 black timber supports; 141 metal spears (included 47 yellow spears length 117cm, a pointed steel head with length of 27cm, 2 sharp edges; 49 black spears with length of 117cm, a pointed steel head with length of 25cm, 3 sharp edges; 45 yellow spear with length of 117cm, a pointed steel head with length of 25cm, 3 sharp edges).

Recognizing that the case is complicated and involve many subjects so it needs to be investigated extensively, the Customs Enforcement Team No. 1 has transferred all documents, subjects and exhibits to the Mong Cai Police to continue the investigation.
