Dong Thap Customs coordinates with Market Surveillance to prevent smuggling

Dong Thap Customs Department and the Market Surveillance Department coordinate in anti-smuggling.

At the signing ceremony of the agreement, the units exchanged information and shared experience in anti-smuggling work at the border and inland areas.

Through the contents of the agreement, the working teams of the two agencies will promote their ability and responsibility to complete the tasks of combating smuggling, trade fraud, illegal transportation of goods across border gates, production and trade of smuggled, banned and fake goods, goods infringing intellectual property; fraud in origin, labeling and other fraud in Dong Thap province.

The leaders of the two agencies have committed to continue to create a consensus relationship and promote the synergy of the two forces to accomplish the assigned tasks.

Earlier, the local Customs Department and Market Management Department signed Coordination Agreement 1046/QCPH-HQ-QLTT dated June 29, 2021.
