Dozens of police officials arrest drugs baron

VCN- Vinh City Police led and coordinated with Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station, Ngoc Lam Border Guard Station under Thanh Chuong District Police to assign dozens of police officersto arrest a drug baron transporting 2kg of meth, 2kg of ketamine and two heroin packages.

At 20:10 on February 21, in the border area of Ngoc Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province, the competent forces arrested Bui Tien Van, born in 1983, residing in My Soncommune, Do Luongdistrict for illegal transportation of drugs.

At the site, the competent force seized 2kg of meth, 2kg of ketamine, and twoof heroin packages. At the headquarters of the investigation agency, Bui Tien Van admitted his violation.

To arrest Bui Tien Van, Vinh City Police mobilized 100% of officials and soldiers of Investigation Police Team on Drug-related Crimes to handlethe case.

Currently the case is being investigated and handled by the police agency.
