Goods in transit must have license granted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade

Through the Customs inspection and control process, Customs officers has detected cases of transit goods that must have a license that is granted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. However, when doing the transit procedure, the enterprises did not show the license of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Therefore, Customs Control and Supervision (General Department of Customs) has issued a document to request Customs Department in provinces and cities to pay attention when performing procedures for goods in transit. Furthermore, having appropriate inspection measures to ensure the transit of goods which is subject as prescribed in the provisions of Clause 4, Article 40 of Decree 187/2013/ND-CP of the Government, must have license granted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (except from the case of international agreements which the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a contracting party, have different regulations, they must comply with that provisions of international treaties) when doing procedures for transit through the territory of Vietnam .
Paragraph 4 of Article 40 of Decree 187/2013/ND-CP of the Government stipulated that goods in transit to the territory of Vietnam are under the supervision of Vietnam Customs during transportation on the territory of Vietnam; entry and leaving Vietnam in right border gate, prescribed route; exported shipments must be equal to the amount of imported shipment with full parcels.
