Inspection and handling seized shipment of laptops

The council on handling administrative violation exhibits of HCM City Customs Department is handling confiscated consignments stored at the department's exhibits warehouse, including a shipment of 118 DELL laptops.

According to the HCM City Customs Department, pursuant to Article 18 of Decree 29/2018/ND-CP dated March 5, 2018, to submit to the General Department of Vietnam Customs or the People's Committee, the Department of Finance for approving a plan on disposal of property under established all-people ownership, it needs to conduct an inspection of the remaining quality and price appraisal to determine the starting price so that it could have a basis for setting up a treatment plan suitable to each type of property (sold or destroyed).

To properly and promptly handle, the council is looking for the company to inspect the remaining quality and price appraisal for the laptop shipment.

The shipment that was discovered and seized by the HCM City Customs Department since 2018, had been confiscated by the People's Committee under Decision No. 2354/QD-XPHC. This shipment is in a state that the power supply and internal components cannot be checked.
