Accordingly, the People's Committee of Lang Son province requested the departments and members of the provincial Steering Committee 389, the People's Committees of districts and cities to thoroughly implement the Official Telegraph No. 90 / CD-BCD dated 13th July 2015 of the National Steering Committee 389 to launch the combat against smuggling, production and trading of counterfeit goods as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and supplementary foods; Plan No. 77 / KH-UBND dated 3rd August 2015 of the People's Committee of Lang Son province on implementing the peak time campaign against smuggling, manufacturing and trading of counterfeit goods as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and supplementary foods.

Lang Son Health Department has reviewed the state management activities related to the licensing of production, import and conformity and quality check for products such as food, supplementary foods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, medicines, traditional medicine ...

The forces shall host and coordinate with the Market Management Force (under the Industry and Trade Department), Lang Son Public Security and concerned agencies to intensify the inspection and examination of organizations and individuals engaged in production and trading of supplementary foods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and public and non public health services and monitor the quality of medicines, food and cosmetics.

The Border Guard Force shall strengthen the patrol and control of key routes and areas in order to promptly prevent and detect as well as strictly handle acts of smuggling or illegal cross-border transportation of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and supplementary foods that are counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, goods of unknown origin ...

In particular, Lang Son Customs should strengthen inspection and control at border gates and areas in customs operations; combat and struggle for, detecting, arresting and strictly handling violations related to pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and supplementary foods. In addition, taking measures to inspect and supervise import and export activities for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and supplementary foods. At the same time, taking professional measures such as post-customs clearance audit for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and supplementary food importers who are suspected of trade fraud, the People's Committee of Lang Son province stressed.
