Ministry of Finance proposes to reduce rates of fees and charges in 2022
The Ministry of Finance proposes to reduce the rates of fees and charges to remove difficulties for those affected by Covid-19. |
The draft stipulates the rate of fees and charges to support those affected by Covid-19 from January 1 to the end of June 30, 2022.
The draft Circular inherits the reduced rates of fees and charges in 2021.
For example, the fee rate for exploitation and use of environmental data is equal to 70% of the rate specified in Circular 22/2020/TT-BTC dated April 10, 2020 of the Ministry of Finance.
The fee rate or assessment and licensing of exploitation and use of water resources; and the discharge of wastewater into water sources and underground water drilling practice by central agencies is 80% of the rate specified Circular 270/2016/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance.
The fee rate for exploitation and use of hydro-meteorological information and data is 70% of the rate specified in Circular 197/2016/TT-BTC.
In addition, the Ministry of Finance proposes to reduce 50% of the fee and charge rates in the securities sector, 50% of the fee rate for appraisal of construction investment projects; 30% of the road use fee for passenger transport vehicles; 20% of fees and charges in aviation.
The Ministry also suggests lowering the fee rate for granting certificates of technical safety and environmental protection for motor vehicles and special-use motorcycles.
Specifically, the fee for licensing the establishment and operation of a bank is 50% of the rate specified in Circular 150/2016/TT-BTC.
The fee for appraisal of construction investment projects is 50% of those specified in Circular 209/2016/TT-BTC.
The fee for assessment and issuance of tour guide cards and licenses for international and domestic travel service businesses is 50% of the rate specified in Circular 33/2018/TT-BTC.
