The committee acknowledged and praised the prompt action taken by the Government to collect feedback during an unscheduled meeting held on April 8, whilst being prompt to issue a resolution aimed at offering social welfare packages to people affected by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), NA Chairwoman Ngan stated. Moreover, concerned agencies were asked to prepare sufficient documents for the 45th session of the NA Standing Committee in addition to the upcoming 9th NA meeting.

They will consider preparations for the NA’s 9th session and the NA’s two resolutions aimed at developing Da Nang by 2030, with a vision towards 2045, along with a agricultural land tax exemption.
Other discussions will focus on examining of reports regarding the enforcement of policies and laws on child abuse prevention and control, whilst also reviewing any wastefulness that occurred in 2019.
Between April 20 and April 28, with the exception of April 23, the committee will be deciding on the allocation and use of the central budget and the establishment of three townships in the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Phu Yen and Binh Dinh. This will be done alongside the implementation of Resolution No.468/NQ-UBTVQH14, the use of Government bonds for several projects, and financial-budget mechanisms and policies for Hanoi.
