National Press Festival 2019 : Customs Newspaper won prize for the outstanding e-newspapers interface

VCN- At the closing ceremony of the National Press Festival 2019, Customs Newspaper won the prize for the outstanding e-newspapers interface for e-newspapers for the Lunar New Year 2019. Also, the the Associated Branch of Financial Journalists Association won the B prize for impressive booth.

At the opening ceremony of the National Press Festival 2019, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited the boothof the Associated Branch of Financial Journalists Association.

After three days of exciting activities, the National Press Festival 2019, with the theme of, “Renovated, creative, responsible Vietnamese press for the interests of the nation and people”, wrapped up on 17 March 2019.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited the booth of Customs Newspaper and financial press publications.

At the closing ceremony, the Organising Board awarded 49 prizes for “the best reportages on the environment, climate change, and natural disaster prevention”, including 4 prizes A, 11 prizes B, 16 prizes C and 18 Consolation prizes; awarded 76 prizes for “impressive and outstanding booths”, including 2 Special prizes, 19 Prizes A, 31 prizes B, 24 prizes C. For “the impressive radio-television programmes for Lunar New Year holiday”, the organising board awarded 35 prizes for TV programs and 8 prizes for radio programs.

The Organizing Board also awarded 20 prizes for outstanding interface for e-newspaper for Lunar New Year in 2019; 76 prizes for “Outstanding Lunar New Year cover pages”, including 12 prizes A, 26 Prizes B, 24 prizes C and 14 Consolation prizes. Especially, it also awarded 23 prizes for scientific studies on press professionalism.

At the National Press Festival, Customs Newspaper won the prize for the outstanding e-newspapers interface for e-newspaper for the Lunar New Year 2019. The the Associated Branch of Financial Journalists Association won the B prize for “impressive booth”.

This year, the Organizing Board also awarded the Certificate of Merit to the units serving the National Press Festival 2019. In addition, as with tradition, all the New Year's publications displayed at the Festival will be awarded to soldiers who are on duty in Truong Sa island and island areas.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association (VJA), Head of the National Press Festival 2019 Ho Quang Loi affirmed that this festival has a larger scale than in previous years, and introduced to the public typical press publications, modern press technology equipment and journalism education and training programs; affirmed the great role and the strong development of Vietnam's revolutionary press.

"The 2019 national press festival includes 76 booths, attracting enthusiastic participation of nearly 200 units. This is the biggest cultural and press event in the country and the meeting of career and spiritual culture of journalists and the public nationwide," Mr. Ho Quang Loi affirmed.

The booth of the Associated Branch of Financial Journalists Association has always received peoples’ attention.

The highlight of this year's festival is the forums, seminars, exchanges, photo exhibitions with many new, practical and in-depth topics on the profession ... At the booths, press agencies also organized many attractive activities.
