Owing more than VND3 billion in tax, an enterprise fled its place of business

According to Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department, Nha Thuong Production and Trading Private Enterprise currently owes nearly VND3.2 billion of overdue tax which is subject to enforcement at the Investment/Processing Customs Branch - HCMC Customs Department (more than VND3.1 billion) and Ben Luc Customs Branch - Long An Customs Department.
Through verification of business information at Long An Tax Department and the People's Committee of Luong Hoa Commune, Ben Luc District, Long An (where the enterprise is located) showed that the business was no longer operating at the business address.
Long An Tax Department has issued a coercive document announcing that the invoice was no longer valid, Nha Thuong Production and Trading Private Enterprise closed its tax identification number at state three – taxpayer stopped operating but has not completed the procedures of closing tax identification number.
Verifying account information Thang My Tran, owner of Nha Thuong Production and Trading Private Enterprise at the bank, it had an account balance.
To recover the above tax debts, Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department reported and proposed the General Department of Vietnam Customs to consider and issue a decision on coercive deduction of bank account for Thang My Tran to pay tax debt of the company. At the same time, issuing a decision on stopping customs procedures for exporting and importing goods of Nha Thuong Production and Trading Private Enterprise.
