VCN – A leader of Anti-drug Enforcement Team – Quang Ninh Customs Department said that Bac Ninh Police has issued a decision to prosecute a case of transporting 9 pieces of heroin occurred in Bac Ninh in April of 2017.

Khung A Cha and the exhibits

As Customs News has published, on 11th April 2017, at Km 277 (in Dong village, Phu Khe commune, Tu Son town, Bac Ninh province), the Anti-Drug Enforcement Team collaborated with the Drug Enforcement Police Division (PC47) under Bac Ninh Police and the Customs Enforcement Team (under the Bac Ninh Customs Department) to arrest Mr. Kha A Cha, born in 1974 (residing in Thong Ang village, Hang Kia commune, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province) illegally transporting narcotics.

At the time of inspections, Mr. Kha A Cha had a black bag with 9 rectangular pieces (about 16x12x2cm) wrapped in white and yellow plastic, with white powder inside.

Mr. Kha A Cha said that 9 rectangular pieces in the black bag were heroin transported to an unknown man from Mai Chau - Hoa Binh to Bac Ninh for consumption, with a transportation fee of 5 million vnd per piece.

After completing dossier of the case, Anti-drug Enforcement Team handed over the subject and evident to the Drug Enforcement Police Division (PC47) under Bac Ninh Police for further investigation.
