Quang Binh Customs seize 42.6kg all kind of fireworks

VCN – Customs and Border Defense force of Quang Binh coordinated to seize 42.6kg of fireworks all kind at the area of side gates of Cha Lo International Border Gate.

Firework was seized by competent forces.

Implementing Custom professional patrol and Enforcement plan, at 3:30 AM on 12/11, at the area of stream in the side gate (from Laos to Vietnam) near km140 road 12A, Customs Enforcement Team coordinated with Cha Lo Customs Branch (under Quang Binh Customs Department) and Cha Lo Border Post to discover some people with suspected signs of illegally transporting cargo cross-border.

When detecting patrol force, those people took advantage of rainy night, difficult forest terrain in order to run away and leave cargoes behind.

At the scene, competent forces seized 4 packages with a total weight of 42.6kg of fireworks including 10 boxes of firework type of 36 pieces, the weight of 14kg; 13 boxes of firework type of 9 pieces, the weight of 28.6kg. Moreover, the information on the package was written in Thai and labeled “MADE IN CHINA”.

The competent force made a record of certification and seized those fireworks for handling in accordance with regulation.
