The export turnover in second half of June increased more than the first half of June due to the increase of some commodity groups: Computers, electronic products, and components up by US$ 272 million; Textiles and garments up by 16.7%, equivalent to US $ 179 million; Machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts up by 25%, equivalent to US$ 111 million; Iron and steel up by US $ 171.6 million, equivalent to US $ 109 million; and Aquatic products up by 35%, equivalent to US $ 107.6 million ...

At the beginning of May 2017, computers, electronic products and components surpassed textiles and garments to win No. 2 in exports. However, after that, the textiles and garments have regained this position.
And by the end of June, textiles, and garments remained at No. 2 with a turnover of nearly US $ 11.75 billion. Meanwhile, computers, electronic products, and components are closely following with a turnover of US $ 11.56 billion.
However, with the growth rate of 45.8% of computers, electronic products and components over the same period of 2016 in comparison with the growth rate of only 8.5% of textiles and garments, the No. 2 of this group are likely to be swapped.
