According to the Customs Enforcement Team, the team received information that Mr. N.T.V (Tan Binh District, HCM City) would enter HCMC from Hong Kong with signs of smuggling. Therefore, the team issued a coordination document No. 14/PHCT-KSHQ and sent to Tan Son Nhat International Airport Customs Branch in order to conduct physical inspection of that luggage.
As forecast, in the evening of 11th March 2017, N.T.V arrived HCMC on the flight CX799 from Hong Kong. After the plane landed, the Customs Enforcement Team and Tan Son Nhat International Airport Customs Branch arranged the force to monitor and inspect a subject from the apron area.
Although carrying 6 pieces of luggage, when entering the area of Customs procedures, the subject did not declare about carrying any luggage. Immediately, the Working Team deployed the task to inspect that subject.
