Seizing 1 bar of heroin and 1,600 tablets of synthetic drugs

Earlier, at 4:30 PM on 29/8, while the working group coordinated to implement task at the border area of the Lech Cuong village, Thanh Hung commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province, they unexpectedly discovered 3 people moving from the borderline into the country with many suspicious signs.

Through the physical inspection, competent forces detected and seized a bar of heroin (weighing about 350g); 8 blue plastic bags containing about 1,600 synthetic tablets and 2 homemade guns, ...

At the investigation agency, three people were identified as members of the family: Lo Van Hoa (was born in 1963), Quanh Thi Thanh (was born in 1966) who is the wife of Lo Van Hoa and Quanh Thi Tien (was born in 1978) who is Thanh’s sister). They live together in the group 10, Thanh Hung commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province.

As a primary statement, three subjects claimed that they bought the above drugs from a Lao person in the border area. Then they were seized when was transporting to the gathering area.
