On the eve of the New Year, Việt Nam News Agency spoke with Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyễn Hồng Diên about difficulties which hit the economy and businesses in 2022 and new directions to create momentum for boosting production and export in the coming year.

Amid global concern over inflation and rising interest rates, Vietnam has emerged as a rare economic bright spot, boasting healthy GDP growth and an array of opportunities, according to a story published by Thailand-based Bangkok Post on September 19.

Vietnam is staying active and maintaining stability with risk management tools and healthy competition amid global integration, said Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
