Taiwanese construction giant chooses Vietnam as investment destination
The Taiwanese firm is a construction company under Core Pacific Group, the second largest real estate corporation in Taiwan (China), with its headquarters based in Taipei.
First established in the 1950s, BES Engineering Corporation has gone on to accumulate more than 60 years of experience in the engineering and construction sectors.
Specialising in the construction of industrial parks, civil engineering, and factories, as well as mechanical and electrical engineering projects, during six decades of development BES Engineering Corporation has gone on to implement and handle hundreds of projects of various scales, becoming one of the leading construction companies in Taiwan (China).
Typically, BES Engineering Corporation takes on projects in different fields, with their work renowned for being done to an excellent standard, all of which contributes to giving the enterprise a great reputation in the construction industry internationally, receiving great acclaim from international construction financiers in the process.
Vietnam viewed as a potential destination
In general, Southeast Asia, especially Vietnam, has always been seen as a potential market for the business. Therefore, it is unsurprising that the nation has been chosen as a place for BES Engineering Corporation to take its first steps on a journey of expanding its global influence.
This comes after BES Engineering Vietnam Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of BES, was established in November, 2019, marking the start of successful future projects in the country.
Most notably, with the aim of enhancing its leading role in terms of innovation and advanced technology, the Taiwanese company has largely focused on carrying out projects both in Taiwan (China) and abroad. Through its work, the enterprise has managed to achieve a global footprint in Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, the United States, and Costa Rica, among many other nations.
In terms of projects in Vietnam, the firm was previously involved in the construction of National Highway 1 and Highway 5. Indeed, the subsidiary BES Engineering Vietnam, despite being established less than a year ago, has already made its own mark on the local construction market.
Despite this, previous projects largely saw BES Engineering Corporation serve as a construction contractor when operating internationally. Moving forward, their great ambition is to become a project developer in the Vietnamese market, with its long-term experience set to make the enterprise a pioneer in the local construction industry.
Currently, BES Engineering Vietnam has made significant efforts to participate in construction projects in many different fields nationwide, such as directly participating in bidding for the construction and development of Hoa Cam Industrial Park phase II in the central city of Da Nang.
Furthermore, the company is in the process of embarking on a number of major projects, such as building civil works in the An Phu - Thu Thiem areas of District 2 in Ho Chi Minh City, constructing industrial parks in Bac Ninh, and promoting investment in housing projects in new urban areas in Long An and Dong Nai.
It is reported that BES Engineering Corporation is committed to maintaining investment of more than RMB10 billion per year in order to achieve a balance and economic stability, therefore providing customers with absolute trust whilst promoting sustainable development.
The committed investment will be devoted to helping the Taiwanese business move forward with their efforts in the Vietnamese market. This will provide a boost for the nation as it strives to catch up with global trends and become a developed industrial country in the near future.
