With such solutions, units of the whole department have detected, arrested and handled 455 cases of smuggling, trade fraud and customs clearance; The estimated material value is over 9.1 billion VND. Of which, 350 customs administrative violations were estimated at 7.9 billion VND; 93 cases of smuggling illegally transported across the border, worth over 1.1 billion; 7 cases of IP infringement, counterfeit money; 5 other violations, exhibits 61.5 kg of firecrackers. Specifically, at the area of Customs Department of Tan Thanh border gate, up to September 30, the unit has had the arrest and handled 76 cases of smuggling, illegal transportation of goods across the border, the violation of the customs clearance, the value of material evidences over 285 million, punishing administrative violations with the amount of over 171 million; Of these, 5 cases of firecracker with the weight is 35.5 kg. Collaborating with the police and border police arrested 7 cases, including 3 drugs / 11,926,279 grams; three cannon / 847.2 kg; the support tool 1/200 electric batons.
