In recent years, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has been one of the leading Ministries in the application of information technology in the administration and operation of online public services to better serve people and enterprises with more than 700,000 records processed on the Internet every year.
However, the online public services of the Ministry of Industry and Trade have been deployed in many different stages, which has caused online public services to operate on various separate websites.
In order to create better conditions for people and businesses when implementing administrative procedures related to Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has developed the online service portal to integrate all public services at level 3 and level 4 into a Single Window.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Tran Tuan Anh stressed: “The application of the online public service portal is a great effort of subordinate units of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to implement the commitments of the Ministry of Industry and Trade with the business community in reforming administrative procedures”.
When the online public service portal of the Ministry of Industry and Trade is put into operation, it will create better conditions for enterprises when conducting online declarations at the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Specifically, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will make sure that the entire process is done online, allowing declarants to perform all online public services of the Ministry of Industry and Trade through a single account; minimizing the number of documents and data declarations, reducing the time and the number of records that enterprises must submit; helping enterprises to easily lookup information anytime, anywhere; supporting the management of the Ministry, increasing the efficiency of the online system and reducing the wait times of enterprises.
The online public service portal is also the only portal of the Ministry of Industry and Trade connecting to the National Public Service Portal.
In particular, at the ceremony, the Ministry of Industry and Trade also implemented online public services and certification of energy labeling at level 4 to reduce the number of cases to be examined and inspected related to energy labeling .
A business representative who often performs this procedure, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Huong – the Deputy Director General of Nagakawa Vietnam Joint Stock Company said: “The upgrading of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for energy labeling to level 4 is a great reform, helping enterprises in this field to reduce the time of application of this procedure as well as reducing costs”.
This also represents the efforts of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and relevant State agencies to remove obstacles of enterprises.
