The reason why the system response slowly to some express cargo declaration

According to General Department of Vietnam Customs, through reviewing those declarations that were processing slowly, the errors detected including enterprises already paid a deposit but Express Cargo Customs Branch has not received money in their account yet.

The enterprises claimed that they completed their duty when they already paid the deposit into bank account. However, in fact, the money has to go through many stages of related Customs professional activities then Express Cargo Customs Branch’s account would receive the amount of deposit from enterprises.

Additionally, there is a case that enterprise didn’t declare information criteria about taxpayer which is express the or incorrect code number of the taxpayer. Thus, when the system transfers those declarations to the fixed accounting system, it has to wait for importer (cargo owner) to pay tax. The system would not be able to deduct deposit automatically of express enterprises. In this case, if the enterprise did additional declaration, the system still did not deduct automatically. They have to get support from other division for intervention.

In order to overcome the situation, the General Department of Vietnam Customs said that express enterprises need to be proactive in the time of paying a deposit, avoiding the situation of late receiving money of Express Cargo Customs Branch ‘s account so they would deduct tax and fees.

For declarations which declared incorrect information code of taxpayer, after making additional declarations, they should call the support center of the General Department of Vietnam Customs for automatically deduct tax and fees.

In addition, for the reflection that the system does not automatically deduct tax after getting money in advances account; or incomplete deduction of Customs fees, General Department of Vietnam Customs said that they have improved the system.
