Trade deficit continued to fall to more than $ 700 million.

According to the latest information from the General Department of Vietnam Customs, in the first 15 days of September, the total export turnover of the country reached nearly $US 9.213 billion, bringing the total value of export turnover from the beginning of the year up to $US 144.222 billion.

Meanwhile, the imports in the first half of September reached $US 9,113 billion, bringing the total value of import turnover of the country to $US 144,923 billion.

Thus, as of 15/9, the trade balance of the country only minus $US 701 million. This continues to be an optimistic signal as Vietnam's trade deficit tends to go down. By the end of 8/2017, the country has a deficit of $US 812 million.

Compared with last month, the trade deficit of Vietnam has decreased significantly. As of 15/8, Vietnam is trading deficit to $US 2.45 billion. It means that in the past month, the trade deficit has been reduced to $US 1.749 billion.

In the first half of September, three groups of goods worth $US 1 billion or over have been recorded: telephone and components of $US 2.358 billion; textiles reached $US 1.152 billion; computers, electronic products, and components reached $US 1.151 billion.

Meanwhile, the import sector has two categories: Computers, electronic products, and components reached $US 1.797 billion; Machinery and equipment reached $US 1,426 billion.
