Tam Phuc Company’s headquarter in Binh Phuoc

The above consignment includes 1 container which was inspected and discovered by the Customs Branch of Sai Gon Port Zone 1 in early 2016. The dossier pointed out the receiver that was Tam Phuc Co., Ltd (No. 83, Hamlet 2, Thanh Tam Commune, Chon Thanh District, Binh Phuoc Province). This company opened Customs declaration at Chon Thanh Customs Branch under the Binh Phuoc Customs Department. As declared on the Customs declaration, the imported goods are used machinery

Through the inspection container scanner, the suspicious discovery, Customs Branch of Saigon Port Zone 1 discovered many signs of suspicion, so that the Branch issued a Decision to search the mean of transport and detected the goods in the container are used household electrical appliances and agricultural machinery such as: Air conditioners, air treatment filters, household washing machine, refrigerators, drilling machines, hand tools, gardening machines, water pumps, metal cutting machines and lawn mowers. These goods are subject to list of goods banned from import and conditional import. The value of the consignment is nearly 480 million vnd, of which the value of goods banned from import is nearly 410 million vnd.

Besides the case, by the end of 2016, after making the procedure for changing the owner and legal representative, the Tam Phuc Co., Ltd smuggled almost half a ton of ivory through Cat Lai port and was seized by the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department. On January 6, 2017, the Customs Branch of Saigon Port Zone 1 issued a decision to prosecute a criminal smuggling case in Cat Lai port involving this company.
