Two arrested for transporting 1kg of meth

VCN- The Drug Enforcement Team (Quang Tri Customs Department) worked with other competent authorities to arrest two men for transporting 1kg of meth.

The scene

At around 20:40 on January 7, 2022, at km 1+900 DT586 in Thuan 1 village, Thuan commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (PC04, Quang Tri Police) coordinated with the Drug Enforcement Team (Quang Tri Customs Department); Thuan Commune Police; Thuan Border Guard Station, Special Task Force for Drug and Crime Prevention 2 (Quang Tri Border Guard) and the Coast Guard to arrest Ho Van Si, born in 2003, and Ho Van Suong, born in 2006 (living in A Ho hamlet, Thanh commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province) for drug trafficking.

During the inspection, the authorities seized 1kg of meth.

The authorities detained Ho Van Si and Ho Van Suong to expand the investigation.

Ha Tinh Customs seizes about 2kg of methamphetamine and over 5,000 of amphetamine tablets

Earlier, on December 27, 2021, in Long Thanh village, Tan Long commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri, the authorities caught two suspects, Ho A Xuyen, born in 2000 (living in Thuan commune, Huong Hoa district) and Ho Van Cum, born in 1999 (living in Thanh commune, Huong Hoa district) while they were transporting 2kg of meth and 12,000 synthetic drug tablets (equivalent to 1.02kg of meth).
