VCN – According to the Saigon port area 1 Customs Branch, in the early days of 2017, the unit detected and detained 2 shipments of imported fabrics that had wrong Customs declaration information

On January 18^th 2017, Saigon port area 1 Customs Branch made records for administrative violation A.B Limited Company (Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City) when declaring the wrong quantity of 50,361 meters of fabric, worth 354 million VND.

Previously, Saigon port area 1 Customs Branch was also detected D.M Import & Export logistics Co. Ltd (Binh Chanh District, HCMC) import fabrics with wrong declaration on quantity and type. Thus the shipment was held in custody - 16,935 kg of white non-woven cloth worth 346 million VND.

All fabrics were seized temporarily by Saigon port area 1 Customs Branch and wait for further handling.
