Upgrade IT to facilitate tax registration

VCN- In order to facilitate and implement the provisions of Circular 95/2016/ TT-BTC providing guidelines on tax registration, the General Department of Taxation has announced plans to upgrade the application system of information technology to meet the provisions of the Circular.

After the promulgation of Circular 95, the General Department of Taxation required the local Departments of Taxation to disseminate full content of the Circular to departments, Tax officers and taxpayers the full contents of the Circular.

The General Department of Taxation also requires local Departments of Taxation to promptly solve the problems of the taxpayers for new contents of the Circular, explain and guide taxpayers to implement registration declarations, or changes in tax registration information, business suspension and invalidation of the tax codes when taxpayers ask for.

Notably, the General Department of Taxation announced plans to upgrade the application system of information technology to meet the provisions of the Circular.

Accordingly, in stage 1 (starting from October, 2016), the Taxation will upgrade the notification form sent to taxpayers; tax registration certificate, tax identification numbers, tax registration certificate of individuals, tax identification numbers of dependents, the list of individuals registering tax codes through agencies, and the list of the tax codes of dependents through income-paying agencies.

In stage 2 (starting from the first quarter of 2017), the Taxation will continue to upgrade the remaining contents of Circular 95.

The General Department of Taxation also noted, while not upgrading the new application system of tax registration to meet regulations in the Circular, upon receiving the tax registration documents or records changes in tax registration information, the tax authorities still carry out activities on the basis of the old version of system of tax registration.
