Vietnam records five more cases of COVID-19 in Binh Thuan

The test results show that 5 samples of patients tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, as follows:
Patient No 40: two-year-old female, from Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province, came into close contact with patient No 34
Patient No 41: 59- year- old male, from Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan province, had close contact with patient No 34
Patient No 42: 28 year-old male, from Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan province, approached patient No 34
Patient No 43: 47-year-old female, from Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan province, had close contact with patient No 38 (daughter-in-law of patient No 34)
Patient No 44: 13-year-old male, from Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province, who came into close contact with patient No 37 (employee of patient No 34)
Vietnam has successfully cured 16 cases of COVID-19 infection so far. However, the disease situation remains increasingly complicated as there have been secondary cases related to the 17th COVID-19 patient from Truc Bach district in Hanoi.
Many infection cases came from the same flight VN0054 with the 17th patient who traveled from London (UK) to Hanoi-based Noi Bai International Airport.
According to statistics released by the Ministry of Health, there were 11 foreign tourists boarding this flight infected with the novel coronavirus.
