Speaking at the "Conference to connect, support and guide commercial and service businesses and enterprises participating in e-commerce activities in Quang Ninh" on April 29, Mr. Dang Hoang Hai, Director of the Department E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade) said that in that context, online shopping has become popular even for products such as agricultural products and processed foods. At the beginning of 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic broke out around the world as well as in Vietnam. The disruptions to the global supply chain seriously affects the production, business, distribution and export of agricultural products of Vietnam.

Contributions of major e-commerce platforms in Vietnam such as Tiki, Lazada, Voso, Postmart, and partners like VPBank, Visa or icheck have provided support for local businesses to help distribute products on the exchange as well as solutions to support digital finance, towards the goal of digital transformation; develop technology, and promote product distribution on e-commerce platforms.

Sharing experiences as well as benefits when distributing goods on e-commerce platforms, Ms. Cao Hong Van, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Newstar Co., Ltd. said: “Through e-commerce platforms, Newstar's products such as Sa Sung fish sauce, Sa Sung shrimp salt have been present in most provinces and cities in the country and initially attracted international customers' interest.”

Product packaging is made entirely from nature, being friendly with the environment, enhancing the product's value," said Mr. Duc Anh. Similarly, Mr. Le Duc Anh, representative of Quy Hoa Import-Export and Trading Service Co., Ltd, said that through the OCOP fairs in Quang Ninh, yellow flower tea products are now more known to visitors and consumers inside and outside the province.
