What scrap can be imported as raw production materials?

Accordingly, the list of scrap permitted to be imported from abroad as raw production materials includes scrap of iron, steel, plastic, paper, glass, non-ferrous metal and granulated blast furnace slag, of which:
- Iron and steel scrap: Waste and scrap of cast iron; waste and scrap of compound steel, stainless steel; waste and scrap of iron or tin coated steel.
- Plastic scrap including waste and scrap of plastic of Polyme Etylen (PE) in the porous form and not hard: others; waste and scrap of plastic of Polyme Styren: others
-Paper scrap, recovered (waste and scrap) paper or paperboard; unbleached kraft paper or paperboard or corrugated paper or paperboard; Recovered (waste and scrap) paper or paperboard. Other Paper or paperboard made mainly of bleached chemical pulp, not colored in the mass.
The roadmap for some scrap permitted to be imported from abroad as raw production materials lasts to the end of December 31, 2021:
- Recovered (waste and scrap) paper or paperboard. Other, including unsorted waste and scrap (HS code 4707.90.00).
- Granulated slag (slag sand) from the manufacture of iron or steel (HS code 2618.00.00).
Scrap is imported from abroad under the certificate of eligibility for environmental protection in importing scrap as raw production materials issued by the competent authority in accordance with the law will be allowed to continue importing until the end of the validity of the certificate.
