In 2017, the Government Inspectorate will inspect the transfer of public houses at prime locations into other purposes in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Khanh Hoa and Da Nang. Illustrative photo

In which, there are many hot issues of concern to the Government Inspectorate such as Transfer of public houses at prime locations into other purposes at Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Khanh Hoa and Da Nang; Management and use of land, and transfer of land use from land for national defense and security into other purposes; Sending delegations to work overseas in ministries, ministerial-level agencies and Central agencies; and Examination and consideration for civil servant rank promotion in the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Accordingly, Department I will implement 3 inspections. The Government Inspectorate will collaborate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to inspect the management and use of land, including lands derived from State agricultural and forestry farms under Directive No. 11/2016 of the Prime Minister at the Vietnam Rubber Group, Forestry Corporation and Vietnam National Tea Corporation

Department II will coordinate with the State Bank of Vietnam to investigate credits and financial investments in financial institutions and commercial banks with a large debt rate and high risk of capital and asset losses; implement inspections at the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security and related units in management and use of land, and transfer of land use from land for national defense and security into other purposes in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa; inspect the responsibility in SOEs restructure (re-organization, equitization and capital divestment) associated with the pilot implementation of functions of representatives for owners of State capital in Document 2101/TTg in 2009 of the Prime Minister, and transfer of public houses with prime locations into other purposes in the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City

The transfer of public houses with prime locations into other purposes also is assigned to Department I to investigate in the People’s Committee of Hanoi city, Department II to investigate in the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province and People’s committee of Da Nang city, and Department III to investigate in the People’s Committee of Can Tho city. Department III will also investigate the State management and compliance of the law on environment, land and primary construction investment in the People’s Committee of Hau Giang province

Department III with coordinate with the Ministry of Education and Training to carry out topic investments on the State management on education and training; and investments on the State management on tourism in the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism and in some provinces and cities. At the same time, investigating the responsibility of the Ministry of Health Affairs and its subordinate units in performing the regulation on autonomy in accordance with Government regulations, investment management for building 3/5 key hospitals under Scheme 125 which includes Ho Chi Minh City Children’s Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital (Facility 2) and Hospital 175 under the Ministry of Defense (injury and orthopedics hospital).

Department IV will topically inspect the State management and compliance of law on sending delegations to foreign countries at the ministries, ministerial-level agencies and Central agencies; and inspect the examination and consideration for civil servant rank promotion in the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Among the standby inspections, the notable inspections are the inspection for compliance of law in the Vietnam National Tobacco Corporation, the inspection for State management on sending employees to work abroad in the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs; and inspection for compliance of law on citizen communication, settlement of complaints and denunciations and anti-corruption in Lang Son, Lam Dong and Dong Thap.
