According to the leader of Ministry of Health, the Ministry expects to abolish 150 administrative procedures and amend 50% of procedures in the Pharmaceuticals field.

Currently, the Ministry has proposed to abolish 20 of 36 procedures and expected to abolish 10 of 20 administrative procedures in the Medical equipment field.

22 of 41 procedures in the field of Production of insecticidal and germicidal chemicals and preparations for household and medical use are expected to be abolished.

79 of 101 procedures in the field of HIV testing and treatment of opioid dependence with alternative medicine are expected to be abolished.

93 of 166 procedures in the field Preventive health care are expected to be abolished. 708 of 845 procedures in the field of Food Safety are expected to be abolished. 77 of 144 procedures in the field of Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics are expected to be abolished.

14 of 32 procedures in the field of In Vitro fertilization, Surrogate mother and Sex reassignment are expected to be abolished.

8 of 17 procedures in the field of Traditional medicine are expected to be abolished. 130 of 298 procedures in the field of Medical examination and treatment are expected to be abolished.

According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, Director of the Department of Medical Equipment and Facilitation under the Ministry of Health, the Ministry has proposed to the Government to report the National Assembly to quickly review and amend business conditions which are proposed to be abolished in the Law and Ordinance. Business conditions in Law guidance documents (including Decree, the Prime Minister's Decisions, Circular and etc) will be stipulated in a draft decree under the form of a document amending many documents.

Currently, Ministry of Health has developed a draft Decree amending some provisions related to business conditions under the Ministry’s management, the Decree mentions to 9 fields regulating business conditions, including: Medical examination and treatment; Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics; Food Safety; Medical equipment; Traditional medicine; Preventive health care; Production of insecticidal and germicidal chemicals and preparations for household and medical use; HIV testing and treatment of opioid dependence with alternative medicine; In Vitro fertilization; Surrogate mother; and Sex reassignment.
