World leaders congratulate Vietnam on National Day 2022

Party General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith and other senior leaders of Laos sent telegrams congratulating Vietnam on its achievements in national construction, defence and development over the past 77 years, considering them a source of encouragement and strong motivation for the development of Laos.
They deeply thanked Vietnam for the great, timely and effective assistance, and vowed to continue to work with Vietnam to preserve and cultivate the long lasting relationship between the two countries. At the same time, they affirmed that under any circumstances, Laos will continue to stand side by side with Vietnam to preserve and cement this rare relationship.
President Xi Jinping and other leaders of China sent congratulatory messages and affirmed that they attach great importance to the development of the relations between the two parties and states. They said they would look forward to constantly consolidating the traditional friendship with Vietnam and constantly creating new impetus for the development of comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries.
In their congratulatory letters, Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni, Prime Minister Hun Sen and other leaders highly appreciated the positive developments of the good relationship between the two countries. At the same time, they reaffirmed their determination to continue working closely with Vietnamese leaders in order to further promote the Vietnam – Cambodia relations, for the benefit of the two peoples, as well as to realize the common vision of a peaceful, stable, harmonious and prosperous ASEAN Community.
President Vladimir Putin and other Russian leaders lauded Vietnam’s achievements in socio-economic development and international integration, affirming the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia would continue to be strengthened in all fields, especially in economy - trade, science – technology with potential projects to be implemented by both sides.
President Miguel Díaz-Canel and other leaders expressed their pride in the historic solidarity relationship between Cuba and Vietnam that has stood the test of time and developed constantly over the past decades. They affirmed their desires to further promote the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
In their messages, leader Kim Jong-un and Prime Minister Kim Tok-hun of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea expressed their belief that the traditional friendship between the two parties and the two countries would continue to develop further in the coming time.
In his congratulatory message, Indian President Droupadi Murmu noted that the current comprehensive strategic partnership between India and Vietnam has been built on high trust, deep mutual understanding and shared values and interests. He expressed his wish to further strengthen the friendly relationship between the two countries, especially when they are both celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations this year.
On this occasion, Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Malaysian King Abdullah Riayatuddin, Singaporean President Halimah Yacob and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong cabled messages of congratulation to Vietnamese leaders on Vietnam’s National Day.
